Scented Air

While working in the yard this weekend, I was surrounded by sweet fragrant air. The lilacs, crab apple, and apple trees are in full bloom right now.





The first of the irises began to bloom as well. Gorgeous, but not as fragrant as the trees.

This weekend we started the yard work around the house. Its been a cool and sometimes snowy spring around here this year, so we have a lot of catching up to do. The flower beds around the house sorely need fresh mulch.

And mega dandelions to deal with.

Thinking 15 bags of mulch would surely finish one bed, I was proven wrong.

Oh well, at least I know about another 15 will finish the job now. :-)
